Tour Itinerary:

Day 01  Balikpapan International Airport – Samboja Lodge (L,D)
Upon arrival at Balikpapan Airport meet with our staff or guide and proceed to Samboja Lodge by car about an hour driving. Check in at Samboja Lodge, then in the afternoon available observe the Orangutans Island around the nearby Lodge. Optional tours to visit Black River to observing rainforest plants, birds, and long nose monkeys (nasalis lavartus). Lunch, and Dinner at Samboja Lodge.

Day 02 Samboja Lodge - Rainforest Trekking - Orangutan Island - Airport (B,L)
After breakfast then trekking to plant the fruit trees to support the foundation for supply of food the future for the Orangutans, observe the Orangutans around the Lodge, and also the other animals in Borneo (Sun Bear). This area is strictly for the Orangutans survival foundation, which has been developing since 1992 in East Kalimantan, now at Samboja Lodge has about 200 Orangutans that been released into 6 islands around Samboja Lodge. Lunch will be serving at lodge. Afternoon, we will transfer you to the airport for your next destination.
